Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Junior Iron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Rossback (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Junior Iron has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Junior Iron! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Drew Rossback! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rossback rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Iron moves out of range and avoids them all easily. It looked like Iron wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Iron definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Nice body punch from Rossback. Good standup being displayed there by Rossback as he connects with a hook. Rossback bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Iron's head backwards. Rossback has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Rossback shoots in and bounces Iron off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Iron manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A left hand lands to the body for Iron.
Iron manages to break the clinch.
Iron lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Rossback scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Drew Rossback seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rossback misses with a kick to the body and Iron counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Drew Rossback has been cut. Rossback misses with a right hand and Iron counters with a left hand that sends Rossback to the canvas!
Rossback is rocked! Iron stands and steps away. Rossback gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Rossback keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Iron.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rossback moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Rossback fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Iron throws a hook to the side of Rossback's head but Rossback sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Iron throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rossback. As Iron backs off Rossback throws a huge counter combo but Iron manages to avoid it all. Iron pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Iron scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Iron ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rossback moves away. Rossback lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Rossback pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Iron misses with a head kick.
Rossback lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Iron at a distance.
Iron throws a jab but it's blocked by Rossback. Rossback throws a looping overhand right but Iron ducks down to avoid it. Iron misses with a wild body shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Iron scores with a nice strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rossback misses with a double jab.
Rossback scores with a one two! Iron had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Iron sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Rossback to the ground! Iron dives into full mount looking to finish! Rossback is still in real trouble! Can Iron finish him? Iron postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Rossback badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Iron around the waist but Iron pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Iron is the winner by TKO! Iron jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Junior Iron!
