Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Arshnoor Singh (ranked 657 p4p, 75 weight class) and Silvio Crespo (ranked 1505 p4p, 172 weight class). Singh comes to the cage accompanied by 2Pac - Hit 'Em Up. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
49 - 25 - 4, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arshnoor Singh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Silvio Crespo! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crespo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Crespo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Singh circles away quickly and effectively. Singh lands with a cross. Crespo just misses with a punch to the body.
Singh connects with a body shot. Singh thuds a left hand into Crespo's body. Crespo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Singh defends well and Crespo ends up having to push Singh into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Singh loads up on a big right hand but Crespo slips the punch. Crespo works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Singh sizes up Crespo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Singh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crespo.
Singh fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Crespo manages to avoid it. Singh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Crespo throws out the jab. Singh lands a body shot.
Singh really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A swing and a miss from Singh. As Singh backs off Crespo throws a huge counter combo but Singh manages to avoid it all. Singh tries to bum rush Crespo with a series of wild strikes but Crespo uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Singh checks the leg kick. Crespo jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horrible takedown attempt by Crespo or perhaps it was just good defense by Singh, which made it look bad. Crespo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Singh getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Crespo misses with a hook. Singh definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Crespo dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Crespo jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Crespo misses with a hook. Singh ducked under it nicely. Crespo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Singh counters with a left and a right that stings Crespo. Arshnoor Singh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Silvio Crespo. Danga de danga de dang - Crespo scores with a four punch combination! This has been an exciting period of action! Crespo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Singh. Singh steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Crespo. Singh pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Singh lands with a shot to the body. Crespo misses with a hook. A low kick from Crespo misses and Crespo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Crespo scores with a jab to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crespo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Crespo rushes Singh and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Crespo manages to break the clinch.
Singh avoids a punch combination nicely.
Singh misses the shot to the body. Nice defenses there by Crespo. Singh throws a low kick, looking for Crespo's leg but Crespo calmly moves out of range. Crespo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That kick from Crespo tenderised Singh's leg. Singh is trying to keep his angry face on. Singh waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Crespo. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Crespo. A looping hook to the body misses from Singh. Crespo does a little dance to reset his feet. Singh throws a low kick but it's checked well by Crespo. Arshnoor Singh is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Crespo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Singh uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Crespo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Singh buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Crespo lands with a shot to the body. Singh pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Singh throws a body punch but Crespo moves out of range. Nice straight punches there by Singh. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Singh. Crespo wants to clinch up but Singh keeps it at a distance. Crespo lands a jab to the nose. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Singh crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Crespo - the referee stops the clock and Singh gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Crespo. Singh manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Crespo throws an off balance right hand
and Singh counters with a lovely straight right hand! Crespo misses the jab. Singh turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Singh pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Crespo swings for the body but Singh moves out of range.
Silvio Crespo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crespo throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Singh circles away from the clinch attempt.
This has been an exciting period of action! Crespo fails with an attempt to clinch.
It appears Singh was looking to counter with a kick there. Singh swings for the body but Crespo moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Singh misses the target. Crespo tries to counter with a clinch but Singh shakes him off and moves away. Crespo tries to clinch up. Crespo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Crespo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Singh sees it coming and avoids it easily. Crespo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Singh throws out the jab. Crespo misses with a body shot.
Singh throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Singh cracks Crespo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Crespo tries to move into range but Singh moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. A big right from Crespo misses. Crespo misses with a straight right. Singh takes a body punch but keeps moving. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Crespo looks to score with a jab to the body but Singh is just out of range. Singh was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Singh on the wrong end of a nice hook. Singh throws the left hand but Crespo avoids the punch easily. A countering left hand to the body from Crespo misses. A telegraphed right hand from Crespo misses the target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Arshnoor Singh will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Crespo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Crespo throws a big right hand that misses. Crespo stops Singh from standing up. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Crespo working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Crespo with a flurry of punches that miss. Crespo looking to sit in guard and control but Singh gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Singh wants to stand but Crespo has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Singh trying to control the position from guard on top but Crespo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Crespo looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Singh puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Singh wants to stand up but Crespo has a hold of him and won't allow it. Crespo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Crespo trying to get back to full guard but Singh takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Crespo tries to lock up and control but Singh gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Singh controlling the position easily from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crespo really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Singh tries to control but Crespo wriggling away. Crespo tries to lock up and control but Singh gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Crespo is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Singh is staying active. Singh prevents Crespo from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Singh can't control as he wanted to and Crespo manages to get the fight back to his half guard. Crespo is trying to stand.
Singh seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Crespo wants to improve his position but Singh is controlling well.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Crespo slips under a jab. Singh slips a straight right by Crespo. Crespo misses with a double jab.
A counter left hand to the body from Singh misses its target. Singh throws a leg kick and Crespo counters by moving into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Arshnoor Singh dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Singh gets off balance looking for a body kick and Crespo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Crespo checks a leg kick. Crespo lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Singh misses with a straight right. Singh connects with a body shot. Singh throws a body shot but no joy. Crespo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Singh quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Crespo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Singh. Crespo swings for the body but Singh moves out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crespo lands with a straight right. Singh didn't see that one coming. Crespo looks to throw the jab but Singh is out of range. Crespo misses with a hook. Crespo with a hook. Singh drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Crespo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crespo closes the distance and pushes Singh back into the cage. Singh pushes Crespo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Singh. A body shot lands from Singh.
Crespo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Singh lands a right hand. A bit of stalling here from Crespo.
Singh lands with a light punch inside. Singh misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Crespo swings wildly with an uppercut but Singh uses good head movement to avoid it. Crespo tries to work over Singh's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Singh is leaning against Crespo and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Crespo gets through Singh's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Crespo doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A nice right hand lands inside from Singh. Singh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Singh throws a nice outside leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Crespo lands with a straight right. Singh didn't see that one coming. Arshnoor Singh is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crespo walks into a jab. Crespo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Singh manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Singh appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Singh fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Crespo manages to avoid it. Jab, jab by Crespo - just one landing. Crespo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Singh dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Crespo. That did some damage! Crespo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Crespo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Singh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Crespo slips under a jab. Crespo has a takedown stuffed. Crespo checks a low kick from Singh. Some bone on bone action there as Crespo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Singh fakes the leg kick and cracks Crespo in the body. The fight stays on the outside here - Crespo looks like he's thinking about clinching though. As Crespo looks to move away, Singh throws a big counter combo but Crespo just gets out of the way.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crespo has closed the distance and engaged Singh in a clinch.
Crespo misses with an elbow over the top. Singh misses with the head strike.
Singh doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Singh swings wildly with an uppercut but Crespo uses good head movement to avoid it. Crespo utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Silvio Crespo seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. A head punch blocked on the inside by Singh. Crespo tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Singh lands with a short head shot on the inside. Singh escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Crespo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crespo misses with a lunging right hand
and Singh counters with a left to the body. Singh displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Crespo. Silvio Crespo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Arshnoor Singh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Silvio Crespo. Singh uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Crespo. Singh fires out a quick counter leg kick but Crespo just manages to avoid it. Singh ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Crespo moves away. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Crespo.
Crespo moves into range and connects with a jab. Singh connects with a solid leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A leg kick checked by Crespo. Crespo misses with a leg kick and Singh counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Singh moves out of range of the body kick from Crespo.
Singh looks to land a left hand but Crespo moved out of range nicely. Singh dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Crespo. That did some damage! Crespo tries to clinch up and Singh counters with a lovely straight right hand!
And that's the end of the fight! Arshnoor Singh showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Singh, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
