Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Raymon Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sterling Contreras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Contreras takes one to the side of the head.
Garcia sizes up Contreras with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Contreras is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Garcia.
Contreras shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Contreras showed some decent athleticism there.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Contreras working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Garcia pushes Contreras off but Contreras dives into side control.
Contreras remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garcia is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Contreras.
It looks like Contreras might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
