The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janeiro has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Darrow.
Darrow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
It seemed like Janeiro was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Darrow cracks Janeiro with an open hand slap.
Janeiro takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Janeiro bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Janeiro looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Darrow connects with a body shot that sends Janeiro's belly button to the back.
Darrow closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Darrow scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Janeiro avoids a wild elbow strike from Darrow.
Darrow tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Janeiro's elbow.
Darrow lands a shoulder strike.

Darrow breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Janeiro with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Janeiro looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Janeiro get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!
