Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Titou Ortizzz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Titou Ortizzz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a lazy right hand but Ortizzz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jones lands with an overhand left.

Ortizzz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jones throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Jones tries to improve position but can't.
Ortizzz working the ground and pound.
Jones tries to bench press Ortizzz off him but Ortizzz keeps the position.
Jones is working hard here to advance position.
Ortizzz in side control lands a decent elbow.
Jones tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Ortizzz swings around for an armbar but Jones sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ortizzz's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ortizzz wants to stand but Jones is controlling the position.

Ortizzz wants to get back to his feet but Jones is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Jones throws a big right hand that misses.

Ortizzz pushes Jones off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Jon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones throws a head kick but Ortizzz moves out of range.

Ortizzz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Jones is looking for a sweep. Ortizzz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Ortizzz is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Jones to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
Ortizzz tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard.

Jones is working an open guard so Ortizzz takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Ortizzz looks gassed!
Ortizzz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.
Jones doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Ortizzz counters with a single leg into guard. Jones didn't expect that.
Jones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ortizzz wants to stand but Jones has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Jones has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ortizzz is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jones.
Jones is trying to improve his position.

Ortizzz is trying to get an arm triangle but Jones is defending well.
Jones tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Jones is looking to regain half guard here but Ortizzz keeps moving and retains side control.

Ortizzz decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jones to his feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Ortizzz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ortizzz lands in his opponent's guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Titou Ortizzz dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Jones takes a swing at Ortizzz's ribcage but misses.
Ortizzz takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Jones throws a head kick but Ortizzz moves out of range.
Jones is looking to score with low kicks.
Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jones goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Ortizzz clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the cage.
Jones tries for a takedown but Ortizzz manages to get underhooks.
Ortizzz prevents the takedown attempt.

Ortizzz wants the takedown. Jones is fighting it off but Ortizzz persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Jones's guard against the cage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ortizzz stands and steps away. Jones gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Ortizzz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ortizzz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ortizzz is in close to Jones's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Ortizzz chips away with some ground and pound.
Ortizzz is pushing down on Jones's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jones is fighting to maintain full guard but Ortizzz has managed to sneak the leg through.
Jones has hold of Ortizzz's hands but Ortizzz slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Ortizzz wants to get back to his feet.

Ortizzz is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Jones is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
