The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimes thows a left - swing and a miss!

Grimes clinches up with Merker and pushes him back against the cage.

Grimes breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Grimes shoots in and bounces Merker off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Merker tries to strike from the bottom.
Grimes with a flurry of punches that miss.

Merker has his foot on Grimes's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Grimes works his way back into a safe position though.
