Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Terrace Phillips!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randy Cano!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillips throws a body shot but no joy.
Cano with a poor takedown
and Phillips counters with a nice uppercut.
Phillips connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Randy Cano has been cut.
Cano moves away from the strike by Phillips.
A shot to the body from Phillips misses
and Cano counters with a series of strikes. Phillips will be more careful next time no doubt.
Phillips thows a left - swing and a miss!
Cano is looking for the big counter here.
Cano shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Phillips counters with a nice body shot.
Oooooh!!! Phillips has knocked Cano down with a huge combo! Phillips steps away and waves a wobbly Cano back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Cano is rocked!
Cano is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cano tries to clinch but Phillips moves out of range.
Cano is still on wobbly legs! Can Phillips finish him?
Phillips cracks Cano with a left hook right on the temple and Cano goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Phillips lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Cano is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Terrace Phillips!
In his post fight interview, Terrace Phillips started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
