Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gregory Belcher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitry Klokov! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belcher fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Klokov avoids it really well and circles away. Klokov misses with a looping left. Klokov's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Klokov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Klokov misses the shot to the body. Klokov cracks a nice hook into Belcher's ribs. Klokov catches Belcher with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Gregory Belcher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Klokov throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Belcher closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Klokov's guard. Klokov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Belcher advances position into side control! Belcher looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Klokov is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

You can see the frustration on Klokov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Belcher wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Klokov, who protects the arm well. Belcher trying to control the position but Klokov is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Belcher tries for a kimura but Klokov is defending well. Klokov is looking for a sweep. Belcher is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Klokov has escaped the position, nice work there. Belcher throwing shots but missing, from side control. Belcher working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Klokov is trying to work for a sweep but Belcher has mounted him!

Klokov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Belcher. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Belcher goes for an armbar but Klokov turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Klokov. Belcher has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Klokov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Klokov wanted to stand there but Belcher had control of the position. Belcher is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Klokov is aware though and is defending well. Belcher is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Klokov rolls with it to try and escape but Belcher cranks on the arm and Klokov is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
