Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between David Yolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yolo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Yolo controls from within his opponent's guard.
Cruz working a defensive guard here.
Cruz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Yolo is looking for a sweep. Cruz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cruz stops Yolo from getting back to his feet.
Yolo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cruz on the ground.
Cruz is working for a submission of some sort.
Yolo is defending against the submission attempts here by Cruz.

Cruz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Cruz is thwarting Yolo's attempts to control the position.
Cruz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Yolo sees it coming and defends easily.
Yolo tries to get to full guard but Cruz has control of the leg.
Cruz works his way into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cruz takes Yolo's back.
Cruz is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Yolo has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Cruz has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Yolo taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Cruz doesn't care though - he's delighted!
