The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murdock misses with an uppercut. Gelfen saw that one coming.
Gelfen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Murdock sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The fighters circling - Gelfen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Murdock takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Gelfen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Murdock takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Murdock throws a looping overhand right but Gelfen ducks down to avoid it.
Gelfen tries to bum rush Murdock with a series of wild strikes but Murdock uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Murdock uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gelfen.
Gelfen misses with a body kick.
Murdock throws a shot to the body.
Murdock cracks Gelfen with a right hand to the side of the head.
Gelfen lands the left hand.

The cut above Duke Murdock's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Murdock fails in his attempt to clinch.

Gelfen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gelfen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Gelfen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Murdock tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Gelfen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Duke Murdock's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Murdock slips under a jab.
Gelfen scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Gelfen's corner calls for a 1-2. Gelfen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Duke Murdock's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
