Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chuck Shinell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Celininho Franco! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jorge Garcia and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Franco doesn't succeed with the takedown and Shinell counters with a nice uppercut.
Franco shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Franco sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Shinell's guard. Franco throwing shots but Shinell is blocking nicely. Franco prevents Shinell from standing back up.
Franco is trying a forearm choke I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Franco seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Shinell is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Celininho Franco!
