Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Iuri Ferreia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ariel Nahuelpan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Iuri Ferreia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ariel Nahuelpan! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nahuelpan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ferreia! Ferreia looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Nahuelpan looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Nahuelpan punching from mount but Ferreia doing a good job of avoiding damage. Ferreia might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Nahuelpan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The referee warns Ferreia that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Nahuelpan looking to secure an arm triangle but Ferreia defends it well. Nahuelpan has hold of Ferreia's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ferreia manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Nahuelpan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nahuelpan landing strikes, looking to finish! Nahuelpan working the ground and pound effectively.
Nahuelpan looking to secure an arm triangle but Ferreia defends it well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nahuelpan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ferreia can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Nahuelpan controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Nahuelpan connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Nahuelpan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Nahuelpan breaks from Ferreia's wrist control and lands an elbow. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ferreia is squirming around, avoiding Nahuelpan's attempts to control the action. Nahuelpan is standing up, even though he is in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nahuelpan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Nahuelpan lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ferreia down.
Nahuelpan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ferreia has escaped the position, nice work there. Nahuelpan taking a breather here. Ferreia regains half guard there - taking advantage of Nahuelpan's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nahuelpan trying to mount his opponent but Ferreia defends it. Nahuelpan working over Ferreia with some ground and pound. Ferreia looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Nahuelpan tries to pass to full mount but Ferreia defends it. Nahuelpan trying to control from half guard but Ferreia is working away. Nahuelpan is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Ferreia reverses the position - he's now on top in Nahuelpan's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ariel Nahuelpan dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Nahuelpan clinches. Nahuelpan gets a trip takedown into half guard. Nahuelpan not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Nahuelpan is nestled in close to Ferreia, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Nahuelpan passes to side control. Nahuelpan trying to control the position but Ferreia is working away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nahuelpan might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ferreia kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Nahuelpan looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nahuelpan tries to move into full mount but can't pass Ferreia's legs. Ferreia is trying to get back to half guard. Nahuelpan lands an elbow. Ferreia prevents Nahuelpan from moving into mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Nahuelpan is looking to take a break and control but Ferreia is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nahuelpan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Ferreia tries to roll over but Nahuelpan keeps him under control. Nahuelpan stands up out of the half guard. Nahuelpan scores a takedown into full mount! Nahuelpan is stalling here but it's allowed Ferreia to get half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nahuelpan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Nahuelpan trying to control from half guard but Ferreia is working away. Nahuelpan wants to stand up but Ferreia has a hold of him and won't allow it. Nahuelpan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ferreia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ferreia works his way to full guard. Good work. Nahuelpan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ferreia works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Nahuelpan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ferreia is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nahuelpan, into his guard. Nahuelpan looking for a sweep. Not yet Nahuelpan, not yet. Nahuelpan working for a triangle but Ferreia defends it easily.
Ferreia content to stall in guard here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ariel Nahuelpan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Nahuelpan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ferreia to the mat! Ferreia manages to get full guard. Nahuelpan sitting in guard, not really doing much. Ferreia keeping moving, preventing Nahuelpan from controlling successfully. Nahuelpan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ferreia swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ferreia working a defensive guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Nahuelpan passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nahuelpan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ferreia knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Ferreia avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Nahuelpan. Nahuelpan postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Ferreia takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ferreia dodges the ground and pound from Nahuelpan. Nahuelpan grinds an elbow into Ferreia's temple. Nahuelpan is trying to get an arm triangle but Ferreia is defending well. You can see the frustration on Ferreia's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ferreia misses with a takedown and Nahuelpan counters with a single leg into guard. Ferreia didn't expect that. Nahuelpan trying to control but Ferreia is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nahuelpan throws and elbow that misses. Ferreia uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Nahuelpan's guard. Nice move by Ferreia! Nahuelpan wants to hit a switch here but Ferreia passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Nahuelpan there! Nahuelpan tries to reverse the position but Ferreia maintains control. Nahuelpan tries to improve his position but Ferreia has taken his back! Ferreia has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Nahuelpan tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Ferreia pushes Nahuelpan away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
