The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polansk fails with the takedown.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Polansk.
Nice takedown defense from Armstrong. No joy for Polansk on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Polansk. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Polansk fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A right-left combo lands from Armstrong.
It looks like Rick Polansk has been cut.
Polansk misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Polansk shoots in but Armstrong avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Polansk is breathing heavily.
Armstrong lands with a nice combination. Polansk backs away looking to recover.

Armstrong rushes Polansk and presses him up against the cage.
Armstrong's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Polansk fails to land the takedown.
Armstrong stuffs the takedown attempt from Polansk. Polansk gets slowly back to his feet.

Armstrong rushes Polansk with punches - Polansk moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Polansk goes down! Armstrong follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
