The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Aljaffa.
It looks like Donald Murphy has been cut.
Murphy takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Aljaffa lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Murphy up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Aljaffa from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Murphy's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mehdi Aljaffa!
In his post fight interview, Mehdi Aljaffa started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
