Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Tyson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Slasher! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Lou da Vinci and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slasher tries to clinch but Tyson moves out of range. Slasher closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tyson circles away. Slasher pushes Tyson up against the cage in a clinch. Tyson is looking to break free of the clinch but Slasher has double underhooks. Slasher gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Tyson.
Slasher trying to land knees to the body.
Slasher misses with a punch on the inside.
Slasher breaks the clinch.
Tyson has his takedown stuffed and Slasher counters with a body kick that stops Tyson in his tracks momentarily. Slasher fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Slasher shoots in and bounces Tyson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Tyson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Tyson keeping moving, preventing Slasher from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slasher gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Tyson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Slasher looks gassed! Tyson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slasher's waist but Slasher gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tyson off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Tyson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tyson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Slasher throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Tyson wants to control from the top but Slasher keeps moving. Slasher controls Tyson momentarily but Tyson frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slasher trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Tyson sitting in guard here, content to control. Slasher looking to control.
Tyson wanted to stand there but Slasher had control of the position. Tyson stopping the sweep attempt from Slasher.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Tyson tries to clinch but Slasher moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Tyson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Horrible takedown by Tyson or perhaps it was just good defense by Slasher which made him look bad. Slasher feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Tyson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Slasher is one step ahead there. Slasher wants to stand but Tyson has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Slasher trying to control but Tyson is working from the bottom. Tyson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slasher would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Slasher pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tyson is keeping the position for now. Slasher stopping the sweep attempt from Tyson. Tyson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

A close round but Robert Slasher will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Tyson scores with a sloppy right hand. Slasher should have avoided that one. Slasher gets caught flat footed, as Tyson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Tyson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Slasher manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Slasher tries to control but Tyson wriggling away. Slasher throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Slasher is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slasher working away from the top, dropping strikes. Slasher throwing strikes here but Tyson is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Slasher trying to control but he's not successful this time. Slasher wants to finish this one by submission but Tyson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Slasher. Slasher trying to control but he's not successful this time. Tyson is trying to escape the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Slasher can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tyson is looking to escape. Tyson wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Slasher stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. No luck for Tyson with that takedown attempt. Tyson tries to close the distance and clinch but Slasher swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Horrible takedown by Tyson or perhaps it was just good defense by Slasher which made him look bad.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slasher circles away from the clinch attempt and Slasher counters with a right hand to the body. Tyson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Slasher is looking to control Tyson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Slasher avoid being mounted? Tyson missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Slasher makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Slasher. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slasher is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slasher has a closed guard, preventing Tyson from standing up. Tyson trying to control the position from guard on top but Slasher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Slasher is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Nice combo by Tyson! Oh, that's hurt him - Slasher falls to the canvas and Tyson follows him into side control.
Slasher is rocked!
It looks like Robert Slasher has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Slasher is trying to escape the position but Tyson is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Tyson dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Robert Slasher's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Tyson wants to clinch up but Slasher keeps it at a distance. Slasher closes the distance and clinches up with Tyson, looking for a takedown. Slasher pushes Tyson against the cage but Tyson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Tyson checks the leg kick. Tyson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A slapping body kick lands there for Slasher. Tyson misses with a series of wild punches.
Slasher clinches up with Tyson and pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tyson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Slasher smiles and moves away.
Slasher takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Good work by Slasher as he checks the leg kick. Tyson fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Tyson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slasher shoots in but Tyson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Tyson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Tyson connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Slasher tumbling to the canvas! Tyson pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Slasher was done - good stoppage!
