The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caldwell throws a front kick aimed at Buchanan's knee but Buchanan avoids it well.
Caldwell walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Buchanan getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Buchanan has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hazzard County Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Caldwell tries for a takedown but Buchanan circles away easily
and Buchanan counters with a nice uppercut.
Buchanan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Caldwell's calf.
A nice inside leg kick there by Buchanan. That's going to slow Caldwell down.
Buchanan lands a leg kick that knocks Caldwell off balance momentarily.
Caldwell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Caldwell is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Buchanan clinches.
Buchanan lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Caldwell trying to stall but Buchanan improves his position.
Buchanan lands a nice uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Buchanan lands a right hand that snaps the head of Caldwell backwards.
Buchanan blocking some punches.

Buchanan lands an uppercut.

Caldwell is rocked!
Buchanan gets through Caldwell's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Caldwell is still on wobbly legs! Can Buchanan finish him?
Buchanan creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Caldwell's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Caldwell drops to his knees and Buchanan pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
