Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lesnar is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Buckner's half guard.

Buckner makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Buckner gets caught napping as Lesnar dives in and scores a takedown. Buckner manages to retain guard.
Lesnar is standing up over Buckner. Buckner looks to escape but Lesnar dives into side control.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lesnar tries to move to mount but Buckner blocks the move with his legs.
Lesnar lands a nice forearm strike.
The referee asks Lesnar politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Lesnar prefers to stall for the moment though.

Lesnar goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Buckner has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lesnar but great work by Buckner.
Lesnar wants to control but Buckner postures up.

Lesnar is looking to regain half guard here but Buckner keeps moving and retains side control.

Lesnar tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Buckner wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
You can see the frustration on Lesnar's face as Buckner controls the position.
Lesnar is looking to reverse the position.
Lesnar throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

Lesnar changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Lesnar shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Buckner is trying to defend but Lesnar finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Buckner is doing well to control the position and prevent Lesnar from advancing to side control.

Lesnar wants to free his trapped foot but Buckner is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Lesnar stops Buckner from getting back to his feet.
Lesnar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Buckner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Buckner is concentrating on defense, preventing Lesnar from advancing position.
Lesnar is trying to control. Buckner wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Buckner is pressing down on Lesnar's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Buckner looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lesnar passes into half guard.

Lesnar is looking for a kimura but Buckner is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lesnar to get the leverage.

Lesnar is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Lesnar stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Brock Lesnar will probably get the nod.
That's time! Buckner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Lesnar circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Buckner drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Lesnar follows Buckner to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brock Lesnar!
