Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Duff (ranked 1812 p4p, 276 weight class) and Jackson Spinks (ranked 2814 p4p, 410 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Duff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jackson Spinks!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spinks throws a push kick but Duff slaps the foot to one side.
Duff throws the left hand but Spinks avoids the punch easily.
Spinks misses with a left hand
and Duff counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Spinks misses with a wild body shot.
Duff appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Spinks moves out of range as Duff strikes.
Spinks tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Duff manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Spinks shoots for a double leg takedown but Duff sprawls well. He's pushed Spinks's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Duff lands a nice hook to Spinks's body. Spinks takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Spinks throws a wild body kick that Duff sees coming a mile off.

Spinks closes the distance and clinches up with Duff, looking for a takedown. Spinks pushes Duff against the cage but Duff circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Spinks changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

We've been told by Duff's head coaches at School of Hard Knocks that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Duff was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Spinks escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Duff gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Spinks has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Duff can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
