Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tommy Sells! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tommy DeVito! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DeVito shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sells as he avoids it easily. That kick from Sells tenderised DeVito's leg. DeVito is trying to keep his angry face on. Sells leaves DeVito with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Sells went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Tommy Sells seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sells throws a quick inside leg kick. Sells getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
It looks like Tommy DeVito has been cut. Sells feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to DeVito's calf. DeVito stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sells. Sells lands a leg kick that knocks DeVito off balance momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sells lands a nice leg kick that just misses DeVito's sensitive parts. A head kick misses from Sells. DeVito with the counter takedown but Sells avoids it easily. DeVito gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sells paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sells cracks DeVito with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sells has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning DeVito to stand back up!
DeVito is rocked! Sells scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. A solid leg kick lands there for Sells.
DeVito moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. DeVito is still on wobbly legs! Can Sells finish him? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sells swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Sells definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. DeVito looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Tommy Sells has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy DeVito. DeVito is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sells's half guard. Sells trying to control from the bottom.

Sells is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sells is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sells pulls DeVito in close to prevent any damage. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. DeVito stopping the sweep attempt from Sells. Sells preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Sells wants to get back to his feet but DeVito is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. DeVito fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sells manages to avoid it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tommy Sells dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tommy DeVito's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Sells cracks DeVito with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends DeVito tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sells pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! DeVito is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tommy Sells! A very excited looking Tommy Sells made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
