Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kerry Mcpherson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dusty Lesley!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Dean Styles and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesley cracks Mcpherson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Lesley clinches up with Mcpherson and pushes him back against the cage.
Lesley lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Mcpherson backwards.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mcpherson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mcpherson manages to end up in side control.
Lesley pushes Mcpherson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mcpherson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Lesley is trying to control Mcpherson's posture but Mcpherson avoids it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lesley can do anything to dispel that myth.
What's Lesley going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mcpherson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Lesley is looking to get back to his feet here but Mcpherson is keeping cool and he's managed to take Lesley's back.

Lesley lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mcpherson circles away quickly and effectively.
Mcpherson throws a big counter combination but Lesley scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Lesley shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mcpherson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Mcpherson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lesley walks away with a smile on his face. Mcpherson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Lesley closes the distance and lands a one-two.


It looks like Kerry Mcpherson has been cut.

Lesley darts in and clinches Mcpherson up against the cage.

Lesley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mcpherson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
