And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith misses with the combination.
Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Borodin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've been informed that Smith has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Borodin looks to throw the jab but Smith is out of range.
Borodin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Smith throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Smith ducks under a wild hook from Borodin.
Borodin throws a hook to the side of Smith's head but Smith sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Smith on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Smith looks to score with a jab to the body but Borodin is just out of range.

Borodin misses with a wild combination.
Smith throws out a counter right but Borodin avoids it with no problem.

Borodin's jab looks to have found its range, popping Smith under the eye.

Smith goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Borodin throws the left hand but Smith avoids the punch easily.
Borodin backing away here, and Smith unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Smith drops Borodin with a beautiful combination! Borodin stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Smith is looking for the KO!
It looks like Aleksey Borodin has been cut.
Smith slips a jab and a cross from Borodin.
Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Borodin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smith lands a brutal head kick. Borodin looks out on his feet and Smith throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
