Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Tyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curtis Noguira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Tyre! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Curtis Noguira! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyre looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Noguira is fending him off so far but Tyre persists. Nope, Noguira circles away and we're back to standing. Noguira looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Noguira dodges the punch combination from Tyre.
Tyre scores with a push kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tyre throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Noguira. Tyre drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tyre cracks Noguira with an elbow. That is naaassty. Tyre lands some shots froms side control. Check out the look on Tyre's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Tyre shoots in and drives through. Noguira sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Noguira uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tyre. Noguira keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tyre drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tyre decides to stand back up. Tyre takes the fight into the clinch. Nice elbow from Tyre. Noguira is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tyre pulls him back up using the underhooks. Tyre manages to break the clinch.
Tyre misses with a leg kick. No joy there for Tyre, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tyre feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Noguira's calf. Tyre shoots in looking for a takedown. Noguira tries to sprawl out of it but Tyre keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Noguira manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Tyre. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tyre fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A punch combination from Tyre misses. A chopping leg kick lands by Tyre. Tyre throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Noguira fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Tyre closes the distance and clinches. Tyre is leaning against Noguira and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Tyre breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Noguira misses with a takedown attempt and Tyre counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Noguira! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tyre trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tyre looking to control and managing it successfully. Tyre has control of Noguira's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Noguira regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Noguira takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Noguira is desperately trying to improve his position but Tyre has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Tyre lands a nice shot to the head. Tyre can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Noguira is looking to escape. Tyre raining down shots from the mount! Tyre looking to control but Noguira is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tyre lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Noguira hang on? Tyre working away from the top, dropping strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Tyre dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Steve Tyre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tyre swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tyre rushes Noguira and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Noguira has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tyre is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Tyre pulls Noguira into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Noguira throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tyre works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Tyre looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Noguira prevents Tyre from getting back to his feet. Tyre trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
That's one minute gone in the round. Noguira trying to control but Tyre is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Tyre fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Noguira sprawls well initially but Tyre persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Tyre winds up and cracks Noguira with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Tyre is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Tyre throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Tyre working over Noguira with some ground and pound. Noguira looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Tyre performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Tyre slips a nice elbow through Noguira's hands, connecting with Noguira's forehead. Noguira should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tyre wants to take a breather but Noguira is having none of it. Noguira is looking for a sweep. Tyre is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Tyre lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Noguira closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tyre to the mat! Tyre manages to get full guard. Noguira won't allow Tyre to sweep him here. Tyre lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Noguira! Noguira wants to hold on but Tyre pushes him away. Noguira throwing hammer fists to the chest of Tyre. What's that going to do exactly? Tyre lands a big elbow.

Noguira tries to lock up and control but Tyre gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Steve Tyre overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Tyre controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tyre seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Noguira for as long as he can get away with.
And that's the end of the fight! Steve Tyre showed his dominance in that final round. Well Tyre has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
