Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Tyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curtis Noguira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyre looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Noguira is fending him off so far but Tyre persists. Nope, Noguira circles away and we're back to standing.
Noguira looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Tyre shoots in looking for a takedown. Noguira tries to sprawl out of it but Tyre keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Noguira manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Tyre has control of Noguira's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Noguira regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Noguira takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Noguira has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tyre is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Tyre fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Noguira sprawls well initially but Tyre persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
