Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Everett Justice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Goliath!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Justice gets caught napping as Goliath dives in and scores a takedown. Justice manages to retain guard.
Goliath trying to control but Justice is working from the bottom.
Goliath has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Justice is proving hard to escape from.

Goliath avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Justice working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Goliath.
Goliath trying to control the position from guard on top but Justice is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Justice wants to sweep but no luck.
Justice wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Justice keeping moving, preventing Goliath from controlling successfully.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Justice dives in and grabs Goliath's left leg, looking for a takedown. Goliath pushes down on Justice's head and hops out.
Goliath tries to counter by closing the distance.

Goliath looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Justice knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Goliath on the ground.
Justice is in trouble now - Goliath has advanced to mount!
Goliath looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Goliath trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Justice tries to hold on but Goliath pushes him away.
Justice is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Goliath looking to control but Justice is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Goliath is in the full mount, landing strikes.


Justice is rocked!
Justice is bucking up trying to escape but Goliath cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Oh Justice is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Goliath loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Justice scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Goliath land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Goliath stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Goliath!
