PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Badr Al Din (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Angle has chosen The Doors - Roadhouse Blues as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Al Din misses.
Angle looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nice defenses there by Angle.
A big left from Al Din misses.
Angle fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Al Din avoids it really well and circles away.
Al Din misses with a straight left.
Jab, jab by Al Din - just one landing.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Angle.
Al Din tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Angle wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Angle is working to tighten his grip on Al Din's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Al Din has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Angle is really squeezing tight and eventually Al Din passes out! Angle breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
