Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stan Best (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sora Takeuchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sora Takeuchi!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Best tries to clinch there but Takeuchi circles away.
Best is looking to clinch.
Takeuchi blocks a head kick by Best.

Takeuchi ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Takeuchi no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Best trying to control the position from guard on top but Takeuchi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Best trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Takeuchi is looking for a triangle but Best pushes his legs off easily.

Takeuchi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Best drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Best jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Best stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Takeuchi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Takeuchi has control of Best's left arm, preventing Best from doing any damage.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Best stuffs the takedown attempt from Takeuchi. Takeuchi gets slowly back to his feet.
Takeuchi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Best wants to get back to his feet.
Best knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Takeuchi on the ground.
Takeuchi moves nicely into side control.
Takeuchi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Takeuchi is just content to waste time from the top position. Best takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Best throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Takeuchi escapes and throws Best's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Takeuchi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Best is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Takeuchi works to advance to full mount. Best defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Best is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sora Takeuchi dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Best tries to clinch but Takeuchi is having none of it.
Stan Best seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takeuchi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Best sprawls well initially but Takeuchi persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Best is looking for a sweep. Takeuchi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Takeuchi is working for a kimura but Best is defending it quite comfortably.

Takeuchi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Takeuchi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
