Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ribociclib Kisqali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Midori Kaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ribociclib Kisqali! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Midori Kaze! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kisqali throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kaze counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kaze. Kisqali might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kaze controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Kaze drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kaze jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kaze in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kaze postures up in Kisqali's guard and throws a big left but Kisqali blocks it. Kisqali trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kisqali working a defensive guard but Kaze manages to pass into side control anyway.
Kaze moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaze fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Kaze looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Kaze has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kaze fails with a takedown attempt. Kisqali misses with a body shot
and Kaze counters with a nice double leg into guard. Kaze lands a couple of digs. Kaze trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kaze preventing the sweep. Kaze is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kaze stands and steps away. Kisqali gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Kaze avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Ribociclib Kisqali is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kaze has a takedown stuffed. Kisqali's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kaze under the eye.
It looks like Midori Kaze has been cut. Kisqali drops Kaze with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kaze looks back up at him and smiles so Kisqali waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaze slips under a jab. Kisqali throws an off balance right hand
and Kaze counters with a series of strikes. Kisqali will be more careful next time no doubt. Kaze takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Kaze is rocked! Kisqali throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kaze counters with a shoot takedown. Kisqali fights it but they end up in guard. Kaze is still in real trouble! Can Kisqali finish him? Kisqali working a defensive guard but Kaze manages to pass into side control anyway.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kisqali manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kaze's best efforts. Kaze scoring with strikes to the body and head. Kaze seems to have recovered his senses. Kaze is thwarting Kisqali's attempts to control the position. Kaze is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kaze content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kisqali trying to control but Kaze postures up.
Kaze thows a huge punch but Kisqali dodges it nicely.
Kaze content to control rather than advance. Let's hope that Kaze has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Midori Kaze dominated that round. The cut man is working on Midori Kaze's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Kaze tries to clinch up. Kaze looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kisqali! Kaze just content to control the position. Kisqali tries to buck Kaze off but Kaze is having none of it. Kaze working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Kaze decides to stand back up. Kaze steps back and let's Kisqali get back to his feet. Kisqali throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Kaze breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A looping hook to the body misses from Kisqali. Kaze does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kisqali lands a big uppercut and Kaze crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kaze looks OK. Kisqali waves Kaze back to his feet!
That has opened up Midori Kaze's cut even more. Kisqali throws a hook but Kaze blocks it. Kisqali misses the jab. Kaze lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Kaze ducks under a wild hook from Kisqali. Kaze closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Kaze has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kaze controlling the position. Kaze stands up. Kaze moves away from the strike by Kisqali. Kisqali pounces like a tiger and cracks Kaze with a vicious hook! Kaze is down but not out! Kisqali follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ribociclib Kisqali!
