Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jon Ubereem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Yoel Embolo!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ubereem tries to move into range but Embolo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Jon Ubereem has been cut.
Embolo's coach down at Gizmo's Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Embolo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Ubereem tries to bum rush Embolo with a series of wild strikes but Embolo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ubereem misses with a few strikes there.
Ubereem throws a hook but Embolo avoids it easily.
Ubereem swinging wildly here.
Embolo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ubereem seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ubereem avoids a punch combination nicely.

A nice combination there by Ubereem.
Ubereem falls off balance throwing a combination
and Embolo counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Yoel Embolo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ubereem swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Embolo! But no joy.
Ubereem throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Embolo counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ubereem throws a right and a left that Embolo avoids nicely.
Embolo looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Embolo looks to land a combination but Ubereem avoids it well.
Embolo lunges at Ubereem with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ubereem's hand.

Ubereem throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Embolo, as that shot connected.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ubereem on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Ubereem connects with a single shot there.
Ubereem stalks Embolo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Embolo's face. Embolo staggers backwards, shaken.
Donk. Embolo catches Ubereem right on the button with a cross.

Jon Ubereem's cut is getting worse.
Ubereem misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
It seemed like Embolo was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Embolo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ubereem. Ubereem circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Ubereem!
Ubereem swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Embolo lands a jab to the nose.
Embolo weaves into range and cracks Ubereem right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Ubereem goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Embolo is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Yoel Embolo!
In his post fight interview, Yoel Embolo started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
