Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dom Willis (ranked 2505 p4p, 262 weight class) and Alexander Nevsky (ranked 3529 p4p, 352 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dom Willis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Nevsky!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Roberts and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willis fails in his attempt to clinch.

Nevsky looks to land a left hand but Willis moved out of range nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Willis. Nevsky does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nevsky appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Willis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Alexander Nevsky comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Nevsky has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
