Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Neo Oen (ranked 3324 p4p, 465 weight class) and Kevin Glass (ranked 4974 p4p, 630 weight class). Neo Oen is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Neo Oen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kevin Glass ! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glass connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Oen goes for a double leg but Glass avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Glass continues to drive forward. Glass looks like he wants to counter punch here. Oen throws a hook but Glass blocks it. Oen is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Glass misses with a hook. Oen ducked under it nicely. Oen takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Oen tries to clinch up and Glass counters with a stiff right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Glass darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Oen fails with a takedown attempt. Glass throws out a counter right but Oen avoids it with no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oen darts in trying to clinch and Glass counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Glass connects with a nice looking jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Glass misses the target. Glass scores with a jab. Neo Oen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Oen looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We've been hearing that Oen has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Oen tries to free his leg and advance position but Glass is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Glass wants to sweep here but Oen controlling him for the moment. Glass pulls Oen in close to prevent any damage. Glass keeping moving, preventing Oen from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Glass lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Glass must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Glass stands and steps away. Oen gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Glass slaps away a takedown attempt from Oen, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Neo Oen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oen is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Glass works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Oen takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Oen shoots for a double leg takedown but Glass sprawls well. He's pushed Oen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Oen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Glass sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Oen somewhat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oen with a lazy takedown attempt and Glass counters with a nice uppercut. Glass scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Oen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Glass as he avoids it easily. Oen tries for a takedown but Glass circles away easily letting Glass counter with a right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Glass cracks Oen with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Glass has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Oen to stand back up!
Oen is rocked! Oen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Glass circles away. Oh Oen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Oen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Glass as he jumps to the side. Glass 's coach down at Savage Dojo MMA Tokyo was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Glass 's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Glass engages and cracks Oen with a massive lead left hook - Oen tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Glass is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kevin Glass ! Kevin Glass made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'You Are who you are.'.
