Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Randall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Lock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randall's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jasmine . Joshua Randall has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Joshua Randall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Lock!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Randall. Those never looked like landing.
Randall looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Randall gets tackled into the cage by Lock. Lock maintains the clinch.
Lock avoids a wild elbow strike from Randall.
Lock stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Lock gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Lock working some strikes from top position.

Lock stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Lock has Randall up against the cage in a clinch.

Lock pulls Randall into guard.
Lock is pulling down on Randall's head to control his posture.
Randall stopping the sweep attempt from Lock.
Randall is looking to stand up but Lock won't let him.

Randall got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lock has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Randall has managed to get both his arms back between Lock's legs - danger averted.

Randall wants to get up but he can't break Lock's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Lock lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Randall avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Lock passes Randall's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Lock slows the pace down in half guard.

Lock is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Randall doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lock.

Randall avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lock.
Lock prevents Randall from standing back up.

Lock is looking for a kimura but Randall is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lock to get the leverage.

Lock throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Lock thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Lock lands a nice forearm strike.
Lock controlling the position.
Lock fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lock has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Lock takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Lock scoring with strikes but Randall is staying in there.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Lock working for a guillotine from mount but Randall is in no mood to give up.
Lock tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ryan Lock dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Lock is trying hard to land a takedown here. Randall sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Randall throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lock looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Randall throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lock counters with a series of strikes. Randall will be more careful next time no doubt.

Lock throws a sloppy head kick and Randall moves out of range easily.
Lock goes for a double leg but Randall avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Randall continues to drive forward.

Lock is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Randall is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Randall is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lock advances to half guard.
Lock performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Lock missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Well, if Lock is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Lock moves nicely into side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Lock thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Lock decides to stand back up. Lock steps back and let's Randall get back to his feet.
Joshua Randall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lock fails to land the takedown.
Randall appears to be looking for a big counter.
Lock avoids a punch combination nicely.

Lock drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Lock missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Lock with a flurry of punches that miss.
Lock has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Lock passes Randall's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Lock stalling.

Lock is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Lock is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Randall can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Lock lands a big shot there that rocks Randall but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Ryan Lock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Lock has hold of Randall's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Randall manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Lock cracks Randall with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Lock with shots to the head and body - Randall looks very uncomfortable down there.

Lock content just to control the position here.
Lock breaks from Randall's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Lock thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Lock controlling his opponent.
BOOM! Lock connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Lock looking to control and managing it successfully.
Ryan Lock has got the better of the ground game so far.
Poor strikes thrown by Lock there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
