Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Uesugi Kenshin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Switch Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Uesugi Kenshin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Switch Turner! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kenshin lands with a shot to the body. Danga de danga de dang - Kenshin scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Switch Turner has been cut. Kenshin lands with a hook. Turner tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Turner gets the takedown into side control. Kenshin is looking for a sweep. Turner controlling from side mount. Turner wants to control but Kenshin is keeping him busy. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Turner controlling the position from side mount. Turner scoring with punches from side control. Kenshin regains half guard. Turner passes the guard and advances to mount! Kenshin is desperately trying to improve his position but Turner has a good base and remains in mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kenshin slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Turner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kenshin keeps working. Kenshin looking for subs from the bottom but Turner mounts him! Turner controlling the position easily from mount. Kenshin sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kenshin is trying to stand up here but Turner is controlling him well. Kenshin is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Turner's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Turner's back! Kenshin tries to keep control of the position but Turner is staying busy. Kenshin is controlling the position but Turner somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.
Turner is holding on to half guard well. Kenshin wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Turner uses the opportunity to regain full guard. Kenshin trying to control but Turner is working from the bottom. Turner lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kenshin trying to keep a closed guard but Turner is proving a slippery customer.
Turner must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kenshin looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kenshin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Turner wants to control from the top but Kenshin keeps moving. Turner engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Kenshin wants to get back to his feet but Turner is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Turner wants to control from the top but Kenshin keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kenshin wants to hit a switch here but Turner passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Kenshin there! Kenshin wants to control but Turner is having none of it. Turner scoring with strikes but Kenshin is staying in there. Turner working for a guillotine from mount but Kenshin is in no mood to give up. Turner takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Turner wants to control the pace but Kenshin is squirming around nicely. Kenshin wants to hold on but Turner pushes him away. Turner controlling from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Switch Turner will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Switch Turner's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kenshin lands a body shot.
Turner throws a poor cross that misses
and Kenshin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Turner throws a leg kick enabling Kenshin to counter with a crisp jab. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Turner lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kenshin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kenshin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Turner closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Kenshin fails to land with a series of punches.
Kenshin listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Turner gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Kenshin gets caught napping as Turner dives in and scores a takedown. Kenshin manages to retain guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kenshin looking to control.
Kenshin wants to sweep here but Turner controlling him for the moment. Kenshin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kenshin keeping moving, preventing Turner from controlling successfully. Turner pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kenshin is keeping the position for now. Turner scoring with punches to the head and body. Kenshin has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Turner doesn't defend quickly enough and Kenshin has managed to lock this one up! Can Turner escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Kenshin on a fantastic submission victory.
