Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Newport (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guus Meeuwis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Newport comes to the cage accompanied by Slipknot-Psychosocial. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

No luck for Meeuwis with that takedown attempt.
Jack Newport seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Meeuwis circles away from the clinch attempt.

Meeuwis is in close to Newport's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Newport's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Meeuwis shoots in looking for a takedown. Newport tries to sprawl out of it but Meeuwis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Newport manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
