Escobar has chosen KoRn En Vivo Mtv as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pablo Escobar!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Escobar clinches up against the cage.

Escobar tries to roll over but Pietrzak keeps him under control.

That's time! Pietrzak's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Pietrzak clobbers Escobar with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Pietrzak throws a series of punches but Escobar moves out of range.
Pietrzak throws a head kick that misses.
And Escobar tries to counter it with a takedown but Pietrzak pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Escobar misses with the combination.
Pietrzak loads up on a big right hand but Escobar slips the punch.
Escobar tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pietrzak manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Pietrzak is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Pietrzak connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Escobar's hands.
Pietrzak ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bartek Pietrzak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pietrzak lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Escobar has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Escobar and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Escobar drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Pietrzak defends it well.
Escobar wants to clinch up but Pietrzak keeps it at a distance.
Pietrzak stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Pietrzak takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Pietrzak swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Escobar connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Pietrzak momentarily.
Escobar ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Escobar slips a straight right by Pietrzak.
Pietrzak misses with a looping right.
Escobar throws a shot from downtown. Pietrzak moves away and avoids it.
Pietrzak leaves Escobar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A decent looking cross lands there for Pietrzak.

Pietrzak half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Pietrzak thuds a left hand into Escobar's body.
Escobar misses with a body shot.
Pietrzak gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Pietrzak fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Pietrzak tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Escobar was well out of range. Poor timing from Pietrzak.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pietrzak lands with a straight right. Escobar didn't see that one coming.

Pietrzak has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Escobar seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bartek Pietrzak will probably get the nod.

Bartek Pietrzak is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Escobar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pietrzak with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Pietrzak is concentrating on defense, preventing Escobar from advancing position.

Escobar is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Pietrzak as he works his way to full guard.
Pietrzak looking to hit a scissor sweep but Escobar is one step ahead there.
Pietrzak seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Escobar trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Pietrzak manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

I would just about give that final round to Pablo Escobar.
