Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Cohen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yi Dong!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cohen shoots in for a takedown but Dong shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Dong gets tackled into the cage by Cohen. Cohen maintains the clinch.

Cohen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Yi Dong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cohen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Dong tries to keep at a distance but Cohen has taken the fight into the clinch.

Dong shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cohen but Cohen pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Dong throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cohen's waist but Cohen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dong off to one side.

Cohen is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dong to keep the fight standing.

Cohen is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Dong presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Dong is trying to force a seperation but Cohen has the dominant position.

Cohen has picked Dong up - he's going for a ride! Cohen dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dong has hold of Cohen's hands but Cohen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Cohen seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dong for as long as he can get away with.

Dong throws his legs up looking for a submission but Cohen uses it to pass to side control.

Cohen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cohen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Cohen kicks Dong off and gets to his feet.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Cohen! Dong is backing up but he can't get away as Cohen lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Dong and ends the fight. Great knockout.
