Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dAnconia just misses with a punch to the body.

It looked like Harrington wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that dAnconia has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
dAnconia looks to land a combination. Harrington sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

dAnconia fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Harrington manages to avoid it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
dAnconia tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Harrington wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
dAnconia is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Harrington is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

dAnconia tries to buck Harrington off but Harrington is having none of it.

Harrington is looking to advance position but dAnconia won't allow it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Harrington takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
dAnconia connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Harrington's hands.
Harrington misses with an attempted mid kick.

dAnconia throws a leg kick which misses Harrington's front leg but catches the back leg as Harrington tries to avoid it.

dAnconia moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Harrington takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

dAnconia clobbers Harrington with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

dAnconia throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Harrington throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
dAnconia scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Harrington takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Harrington lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
dAnconia stalks Harrington and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Harrington's face. Harrington staggers backwards, shaken.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Francisco dAnconia showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Harrington lands a big head kick that sends dAnconia tumbling to the mat! Harrington takes a step backwards and waves dAnconia back to his feet - he wants the finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Harrington finds dAnconia's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! dAnconia flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Harrington lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure dAnconia will be OK.

After the fight, Ashley Harrington was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Francisco dAnconia spoke after the fight, saying 'Who is John Galt?'.
