The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amana fails to land with a series of punches.
Amana really is a fat lump.
DoeJR looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A combination from Amana does no damage.
DoeJR showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Amana.
DoeJR is looking for the big counter here.
Amana lands a slapping body shot.
DoeJR fails to land with a series of punches.
Amana takes a swing at DoeJR's ribcage but misses.
Amana feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits DoeJRs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Amana swings for the body but DoeJR moves out of range.

DoeJR clinches up with Amana and pushes him back against the cage.

DoeJR manages to break the clinch.
Amana ducks down and throws a hook to the body but DoeJR moves away.

Amana tries to circle away but DoeJR has him pinned against the cage.

DoeJR manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
DoeJR is trying to keep Amana in close.
Amana wants to stand but DoeJR is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Amana trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
DoeJR is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
DoeJR is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
DoeJR bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Amana's guard.

DoeJR with a flurry of punches that miss.
Amana knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for DoeJR on the ground.
Amana is looking to stand up but DoeJR isn't so interested in that idea.
DoeJR trying to control but Amana is working from the bottom.

DoeJR drops back looking for a leg! Amana is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Amana manages to kick DoeJR off! DoeJR jumps back into Amana's guard.
Amana wants to stand but DoeJR is controlling the position.
DoeJR tries to free his leg and advance position but Amana is retaining full guard.

Amana wants to stand up but DoeJR is controlling him.

DoeJR is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
DoeJR prevents Amana from getting back to his feet.
DoeJR postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
DoeJR tries to clinch up.
DoeJR will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

DoeJR drives through with a takedown into Amana's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

DoeJR decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
DoeJR works the jab nicely.
Amana scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Amana keeps the fight on the outside.

DoeJR fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Amana, pushing him back against the cage.
DoeJR is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Amana to keep the fight standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John DoeJR dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Amana jabs at DoeJR's body.
Amana scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Amana throws a perfectly timed hook that sends DoeJR crashing down! DoeJR tries to stagger back to his feet but Amana just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused DoeJR asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lalama Amana!
