Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julian Camilio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hagen Potente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camilio tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Potente swivels and escapes.
Potente is looking to clinch but Camilio is avoiding it.
Camilio misses with a few strikes there.
Potente doesn't manage to clinch there - Camilio circles away.
Potente tries to clinch up.
Camilio fails with a takedown attempt.
Potente tries a low kick but Camilio avoids it.
Camilio will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Camilio looks to land a combination but Potente avoids it well.
Potente has Camilio up against the cage in a clinch.

Camilio is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Potente pulls his head out easily.

Camilio escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Potente gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Camilio is breathing heavily.
Potente trying to stand up but can't free himself from Camilio's guard.
Camilio is working an open guard so Potente takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Horrible takedown by Camilio or perhaps it was just good defense by Potente which made him look bad.
Potente tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Camilio paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Potente tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Potente tries to close the distance and clinch up but Camilio swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fight stays on the outside here - Potente looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Camilio keeps the fight on the outside.
Potente doesn't manage to clinch there - Camilio circles away.
Camilio shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Potente but Potente pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A punch combination from Camilio misses.
Potente throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Camilio misses with a takedown attempt - Potente sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Potente tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Camilio paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Camilio tries to bum rush Potente with a series of wild strikes but Potente uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Potente gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Potente escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Potente gets a clinch.
Camilio tries for a takedown. No joy.
Camilio jumps guard but Potente stands there with Camilio around his waist. Camilio gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Potente lands a body punch in the clinch.
Potente is trying to trip Camilio. He has hold of a leg but Camilio is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Potente persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Potente trying to stand up but can't free himself from Camilio's guard.
Potente is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Potente wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Camilio's closed guard. He's half up but Camilio has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Camilio pivots and extends the arm, Potente falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Camilio! Well done that man!
