Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ira Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erick Darko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wright's entrance music is Get Back. A fine choice. Darko is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: S.C.O.S.A - Flatbush Zombies. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darko on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Wright throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Darko throws a jab but it's blocked by Wright.
Darko punishes Wright's body with a nice straight punch.
Nice defenses there by Wright.
Darko avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Darko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wright moves away.
An inside leg kick lands from Wright.
A big right from Wright misses.
Darko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Darko misses with a looping left.
It appears Wright was looking to counter with a kick there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Darko misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Wright counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wright definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Darko throws a right hand that misses
and Wright counters with a stiff right hand.
Wright throws a body kick that misses.
Darko is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
A combination from Wright does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wright feints and then cracks Darko's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Darko down.
Wright lands a big head kick that sends Darko tumbling to the mat! Wright takes a step backwards and waves Darko back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Darko is rocked!
It looks like Erick Darko has been cut.
Darko throws a poor cross that misses
and Wright counters with a huge left! Darko is in big trouble! He's backing up but Wright isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Darko from any more damage. A dominating finish by Wright!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ira Wright!
