The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shamrock tries to keep at a distance but Warholm has taken the fight into the clinch.
Warholm misses with a punch on the inside.
Warholm tries to work over Shamrock 's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Warholm breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Shamrock throws a body punch but Warholm moves out of range.
Warholm throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Warholm misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Shamrock takes a swing at Warholm's ribcage but misses.
Warholm ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shamrock moves away.
Warholm throws a body shot but no joy.
Shamrock feints the counter takedown.
Warholm tries a head kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shamrock throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Warholm lands a body shot.
Warholm swats away the attempt to clinch by Shamrock .
Shamrock misses the shot to the body.
Ken Shamrock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shamrock stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Warholm.

Warholm dives in and scores a takedown into Shamrock 's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shamrock looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Warholm looking to improve position, pressing down on Shamrock 's thigh with his hand. Shamrock seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Warholm paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Warholm's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Shamrock picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
