Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Ballance Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hall comes into the arena with Dance Till You're Dead blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Topper Green and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ballance Jr clinches up against the cage.
Hall wants the takedown. Ballance Jr is fighting it off but Hall persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ballance Jr's guard against the cage.
Hall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ballance Jr swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hall loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Ballance Jr is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ballance Jr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hall doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hall manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hall is working Ballance Jr over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Hall shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hall was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ballance Jr is looking to reverse the position.

Hall wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ballance Jr keeps working.
Ballance Jr manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Ballance Jr pushes Hall off and gets back to his feet.
Ballance Jr clinches up against the cage.
Hall tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hall gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Ballance Jr regains guard.
Ballance Jr wriggles free and stands up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ballance Jr tries to land a knee to the head but Hall blocks with his arms.
Hall has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ballance Jr avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Hall drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ballance Jr pulls his leg out and moves away.

Ballance Jr looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hall is fending him off so far but Ballance Jr persists. Nope, Hall circles away and we're back to standing.

Hall throws a body shot but no joy.
Hall connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ballance Jr's hands.
Ballance Jr tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hall defends well and Ballance Jr ends up having to push Hall into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hall feints and then cracks Ballance Jr's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ballance Jr down.

Hall half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Ballance Jr throws a combination. Hall tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Hall displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ballance Jr.

Ballance Jr is trying to break the clinch but Hall has him pressed against the cage.
Hall has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ballance Jr clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
