Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sanu Tuctic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Neffgen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Christian Neffgen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sanu Tuctic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Christian Neffgen! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Neffgen lands the left hand. Tuctic moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Neffgen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tuctic looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Tuctic is trying to control Neffgen's posture but Neffgen avoids it. Tuctic is looking to regain half guard here but Neffgen keeps moving and retains side control. Neffgen working away. Tuctic tries to bench press Neffgen off him but Neffgen keeps the position. Tuctic on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tuctic tries to get out of the position. Neffgen working away. Neffgen throws a strike aimed at the side of Tuctic's head but Tuctic avoids it well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Neffgen in the domination position with Tuctic hanging on. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tuctic is looking to regain half guard here but Neffgen keeps moving and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tuctic sneaks back into half guard. Tuctic looking for submissions off his back. Tuctic wants to control but Neffgen is keeping busy.
Tuctic is doing well to control the position and prevent Neffgen from advancing to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Tuctic is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tuctic regains full guard. Nicely done. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Tuctic holds on and takes a little breather. Tuctic preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Tuctic managing to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tuctic closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Neffgen did well to prevent Tuctic getting side control. Well, if Tuctic is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Neffgen is trying to stand up here but Tuctic is controlling him well. Tuctic content to control rather than advance. Neffgen looks like he's trying to stand up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Christian Neffgen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tuctic keeps the fight on the outside. Tuctic moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Neffgen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tuctic to the mat! Tuctic manages to get full guard. Tuctic looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christian Neffgen dominated that round. The cut man is working on Sanu Tuctic's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Tuctic looks for a takedown but Neffgen sprawls well. A momentary lapse in concentration from Neffgen enables Tuctic to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Neffgen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Tuctic wants to pass the guard but Neffgen is keeping the position. Tuctic seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Tuctic stops Neffgen from standing up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tuctic thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. We've been informed that Neffgen has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Neffgen has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Neffgen wants to get back to his feet but Tuctic is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neffgen keeping full guard, as Tuctic tries to pass. Tuctic forces his way into half guard. Tuctic trying to control the pace. Neffgen wants to stand back up but Tuctic manages to pass into side control.
Tuctic in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Neffgen is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Tuctic is controlling him well. Tuctic advances to full mount. Tuctic controlling the position easily from mount. Tuctic has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tuctic jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Neffgen manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Tuctic slows the pace down. Tuctic misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Tuctic happy to just control the position for now. Tuctic tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tuctic advances to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sanu Tuctic dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Sanu Tuctic's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Tuctic closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Neffgen's guard. Neffgen is looking to stand up but Tuctic isn't so interested in that idea. Tuctic forces his way into half guard. Neffgen is defending against the submission attempts here by Tuctic.
Tuctic takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neffgen is trying to escape back to his feet but Tuctic uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Tuctic controls the position. Tuctic is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Neffgen has escaped the position, nice work there. Neffgen parries the strikes from Tuctic easily there. Tuctic is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Neffgen to escape.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Tuctic's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Tuctic is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Neffgen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Neffgen is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Tuctic has just dragged him back down to the mat. Tuctic tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Tuctic taking a breather here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Excellent takedown into side control there by Tuctic. Neffgen tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. What can Neffgen do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Tuctic looking for the choke from the back. Neffgen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Good control from Tuctic.
And that's the end of the fight! Sanu Tuctic showed his dominance in that final round. I think Tuctic has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
