Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davos Seaworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gavin Cormier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seaworth comes to the cage accompanied by Oakhelm - Of Wood and Blood. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Davos Seaworth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gavin Cormier! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seaworth loads up on a big right hand but Cormier slips the punch. Cormier is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Seaworth displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cormier. Cormier goes for a double leg but Seaworth avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Seaworth continues to drive forward. Cormier shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Seaworth as he avoids it easily. Davos Seaworth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gavin Cormier. Seaworth throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Cormier counters with a stiff right hand. Seaworth tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cormier was well out of range. Poor timing from Seaworth. Seaworth sets himself, and Cormier steps forward looking for the clinch! Seaworth avoids it this time. Seaworth just misses with a punch to the body.
A jab from Seaworth misses. Seaworth throws a hook to the side of Cormier's head but Cormier sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A momentary lapse in concentration from Cormier enables Seaworth to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cormier manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cormier is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Seaworth tries to free his leg and advance position but Cormier is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seaworth trying to control the position from guard on top but Cormier is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Seaworth makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Seaworth lands a couple of elbows. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cormier can do anything to dispel that myth. Cormier looking for a sweep. Not yet Cormier, not yet. Seaworth is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Cormier controls Seaworth momentarily but Seaworth frees himself. Seaworth with a nice head shot there. Cormier is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Cormier looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Seaworth's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Seaworth working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cormier's head. Cormier bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Seaworth's guard. Seaworth tries to land a sweep but no joy. Seaworth pulls Cormier in to control the position. Seaworth's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Seaworth has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seaworth looking for a sweep. Not yet Seaworth, not yet. Seaworth looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Seaworth looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cormier is one step ahead there.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Seaworth moves out of range of the body kick from Cormier.
Seaworth throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Seaworth closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Seaworth lands in his opponent's guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Seaworth scoring with punches to the head and body. Seaworth trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Seaworth with a flurry of punches that miss. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Seaworth postures up.
Seaworth working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Seaworth controls the pace of the fight for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Davos Seaworth dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Cormier tries for a takedown but Seaworth sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Cormier gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Cormier has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Seaworth after a bit of a struggle. Seaworth has Cormier pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Cormier manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Cormier tries to pull guard but Seaworth forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Davos Seaworth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gavin Cormier. Cormier prevents a takedown attempt there.

Seaworth goes for a takedown attempt but Cormier pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round. Seaworth takes a swing at Cormier's ribcage but misses. Seaworth looking to score a takedown here. Cormier is defending well but Seaworth drives through and ends up in Cormier's guard. Cormier bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Seaworth's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Seaworth is controlling Cormier's posture. Cormier slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Cormier wants to stand but Seaworth has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Cormier must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Seaworth tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seaworth is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Seaworth looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cormier is one step ahead there. Cormier trying to control but Seaworth is working from the bottom. Seaworth is pulling down on Cormier's head. It's preventing any offense from Cormier, at least for the moment. Cormier trying to control the position from guard on top but Seaworth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cormier. Seaworth drops down looking for a counter takedown but Cormier sprawls and moves away. Cormier fails to land the takedown. Seaworth misses with a hook. Cormier ducked under it nicely. Seaworth darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Seaworth is trying to control. Cormier wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Seaworth takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Seaworth working the head and body with strikes. Cormier wants to improve his position but Seaworth is controlling well.
Seaworth working over Cormier with some ground and pound. Cormier looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Cormier wants to control but Seaworth is keeping busy.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Seaworth lands a nice short elbow. Seaworth lands strikes from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cormier is keeping the position for now. Seaworth lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Cormier looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Seaworth passes into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Cormier tries to buck Seaworth off but Seaworth is having none of it. Seaworth cracks Cormier with a big elbow. Seaworth looks up at the clock and then as Cormier takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Seaworth smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Seaworth is putting a hurting on Cormier here, landing some big shots from side control. Seaworth scoring with punches and elbows. Seaworth grinds an elbow into Cormier's temple. Seaworth is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cormier can do to turn this around? Seaworth lands a decent elbow from side control. Seaworth grinds an elbow into Cormier's temple. Cormier takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Cormier is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Seaworth is looking to take a break and control but Cormier is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Seaworth is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cormier is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. That's four minutes gone in the round. Seaworth wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cormier keeps working. Seaworth lands a nice forearm strike. Seaworth lands an elbow. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cormier tries to buck Seaworth off but Seaworth is having none of it. Seaworth working the head with strikes. And that's the end of the fight! Davos Seaworth showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Seaworth, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
