The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Captain Hook seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Parker drops Captain Hook with a left and a right! Oh, Captain Hook is hurt - Parker dives into side control looking to finish!

Parker throws a shot from downtown. Captain Hook moves away and avoids it.
Captain Hook swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Captain Hook tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Parker was well out of range. Poor timing from Captain Hook.
No joy there for Parker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Captain Hook throws a right hand that Parker ducks under and follows up with a left that Parker also avoids with ease.

Parker drops Captain Hook with a right and a left! Parker comes rushing in but Captain Hook regains his composure and manages to keep Parker in guard.


It looks like Berg Captain Hook has been cut.

Captain Hook is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Parker stands and steps away. Captain Hook gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Captain Hook cracks Parker with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Captain Hook swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Parker, as that shot connected.
Parker lands with a right and another and another! Captain Hook is in big trouble! Parker lands again and this time it's lights out for Captain Hook! A quality knockout there for Parker.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Joseph Parker!
An intense looking Joseph Parker took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'I'm waiting for you, Olajide.'.
