Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Flap Jacks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dudley Donahue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dudley Donahue has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Flap Jacks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dudley Donahue! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacks ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Donahue moves away. Donahue shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jacks but Jacks pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jacks misses with a body punch
and Donahue counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Donahue closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Donahue lands in his opponent's guard. Donahue seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Donahue drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Donahue jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jacks wants to control but Donahue passes easily into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jacks is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Donahue jumps into side control! Jacks tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Donahue presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Jacks is desperately trying to improve his position but Donahue has a good base and remains in mount. Donahue content just to control the position here. Donahue works his way to his opponent's back.
Jacks just trying to survive but Donahue is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Donahue controlling from the back. Donahue is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Jacks defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Donahue somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Donahue missing with strikes. Donahue just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Donahue working for a choke but Jacks is defending well. Jacks wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good control from Donahue. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Even with his hooks in, Donahue manages to miss with strikes from the back. Donahue thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Jacks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Donahue on the ground. Jacks showing good submission defense here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jacks is trying to break free.
Donahue slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Donahue has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jacks defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Donahue working for a choke but Jacks reverses nicely into Donahue 's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jacks moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Jacks shoots in but no luck this time. Jacks shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Donahue counters by clinching up. Jacks blocks the elbow strike.
Jacks is trying to pull guard but Donahue has him pressed against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Flap Jacks. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jacks tries to break the clinch but Donahue is controlling the position. Donahue throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Jacks drops down looking for an ankle pick but Donahue pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jacks closes the distance and clinches up with Donahue, looking for a takedown. Jacks pushes Donahue against the cage but Donahue circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nice takedown defense from Jacks. No joy for Donahue on that attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jacks shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Donahue but Donahue pushes him off and we're back to square one. Donahue dives in and grabs Jacks's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jacks pushes down on Donahue's head and hops out. Jacks wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Jacks goes for a double leg but Donahue avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Donahue continues to drive forward. Donahue wants to counter with a clinch but Jacks pushes him away. Donahue shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jacks as he jumps to the side. Donahue throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jacks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Donahue pinned against the cage. Donahue gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Donahue fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jacks, pushing him back against the cage. Donahue makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Jacks managing to block the knees to the body from Donahue.
Jacks changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Donahue fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Donahue moves into the clinch successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Donahue is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jacks is defending well for now. Donahue pulls Jacks into guard.
Donahue managing to control the position. Jacks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Donahue swivels though and keeps the full guard. Donahue manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jacks manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jacks escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Donahue gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Donahue stands up from guard. Let's bang! Jacks shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Donahue as he jumps to the side. Donahue ducks under a wild hook from Jacks. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jacks misses with a head kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jacks looks like he's thinking about clinching though. As Jacks backs off Donahue throws a huge counter combo but Jacks manages to avoid it all. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dudley Donahue showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice sprawl there from Donahue as Jacks shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Flap Jacks. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jacks tries to clinch but Donahue is having none of it. Donahue shoots for a takedown but Jacks saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jacks is looking to counter the offense by Donahue and move into the clinch. Donahue looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jacks is fending him off so far but Donahue persists. Nope, Jacks circles away and we're back to standing. Jacks drops down looking for a counter takedown but Donahue sprawls and moves away.

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Donahue connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Jacks tries to clinch but Donahue is having none of it. Donahue has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Donahue closes the distance and pushes Jacks back into the cage. Jacks tries to circle away but Donahue has him pinned against the cage. Donahue manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Donahue controlling the position. Donahue looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Donahue takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jacks trying to control the position from guard on top but Donahue is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Donahue looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jacks postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Jacks throwing strikes from guard but Donahue blocks nicely. Donahue will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Jacks wants to control from the top but Donahue keeps moving.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Jacks looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Donahue. Jacks thumps Donahue with a low kick. Donahue walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jacks checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Jacks clinches up with Donahue and pushes him back against the cage. The referee is keeping an eye on Donahue - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Jacks is looking to take this one to the mat. Donahue can't break the clinch.
Donahue is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Donahue tries to pull guard but Jacks holds him up against the cage and eventually Donahue drops back down to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jacks landing knees to the head.

Donahue lands a nice elbow. Donahue tries to score a body lock takedown but Jacks shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Donahue pulls guard. Donahue keeping moving, preventing Jacks from controlling successfully. Jacks slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Donahue doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Dudley Donahue comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Donahue has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
