Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elvin Patton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edward Soriano!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Soriano.
Soriano throws a right hand that Patton ducks under and follows up with a left that Patton also avoids with ease.
Patton fails with a takedown attempt.
Patton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Soriano rushes Patton with punches - Patton moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Patton goes down! Soriano follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Edward Soriano!
