Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ludvig Ericsson (ranked 209 p4p, 36 weight class) and Billy West (ranked 531 p4p, 75 weight class). West comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rebelution - So High kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Ericsson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
West fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ericsson manages to avoid it.
Ericsson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Billy West has been cut.
Ericsson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as West sprawls well. West wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ericsson gets slowly back to his feet.
Ericsson scores with the left hand. West knows he should have avoided that one.

Ericsson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching West on his heels. He'll look to pass West's guard now, I'm sure.

Ericsson throws a lazy head kick
and West connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
No joy there for West, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! West crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ericsson - the referee stops the clock and West gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ericsson. West manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Ericsson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Ericsson lands a big uppercut and West crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but West looks OK. Ericsson waves West back to his feet!
West tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ericsson is able to avoid easily.
It looked like Ericsson was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from West.

Ericsson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and West has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
West swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ericsson counters with a crisp right that sends West to the canvas! Ericsson follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
