The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irrozios rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Palmer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Irrozios loads up on a big right hand but Palmer slips the punch.
Irrozios misses with a looping left.
Palmer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Irrozios.
Irrozios connects with a nice looking jab.
No joy there for Palmer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Palmer moves into the clinch.
Palmer lands with a right to the head.
Palmer scores with a shoulder strike.
Irrozios tries to land a knee to the head but Palmer blocks with his arms.
Palmer lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Palmer lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Irrozios throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Palmer scores with a shoulder strike.
Irrozios is rocked!
Irrozios takes a shot to the head.
Oh Irrozios is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Palmer keeps control of Irrozios as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Palmer throws a big uppercut that drops Irrozios! More strikes from Palmer and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Irrozios lies dazed against the cage as Palmer celebrates with his cornermen!
