Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Greg Battle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murphy is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by zayn live forever. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Greg Battle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Connor Murphy! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murphy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Battle, pushing him back against the cage. Battle can't break the clinch.
Battle tries to pull guard but Murphy forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Murphy throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Battle jumps guard but Murphy stands there with Battle around his waist. Battle gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Murphy lands with a short head shot on the inside. Battle tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Greg Battle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Battle ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Battle no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Murphy gets to his feet. Battle looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Murphy clinches with his opponent.
Battle tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Murphy just stands there and leans against the cage. Murphy pulls guard successfully.

Murphy is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Murphy is trying to trip Battle. He has hold of a leg but Battle is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Murphy persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Murphy's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Murphy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Murphy throws a big right hand that misses. Murphy's corner is telling him to maintain position. Murphy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Murphy gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Murphy swats away the attempt to clinch by Battle. Murphy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Battle's guard. Battle is looking to stand back up but Murphy counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Battle. Murphy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Battle might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Murphy stalling. Battle is looking to control Murphy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Battle avoid being mounted? Murphy throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Murphy controlling the pace. Murphy missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Murphy is taking a breather. Battle says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Battle wants to get back to full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Murphy controlling the action here. Murphy throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Connor Murphy dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Murphy closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Battle quickly recovers to half guard. Battle is trying to get back to full guard. Battle is refusing to be controlled, as Murphy sits in half guard. Battle wants to get back to full guard but Murphy has passed into side control. Battle tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Murphy stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murphy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Battle stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Murphy looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Battle! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Murphy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Battle keeps working. Battle is trying to improve his position. Murphy tries to advance position but instead Battle slips a leg back in to half guard. Murphy keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Murphy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Murphy tries to pass to full mount but Battle defends it. Murphy not doing much here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Murphy trying to control from half guard but Battle is working away. Battle actively working from the bottom here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A thudding body kick lands there by Murphy!
Murphy stuffs the takedown attempt from Battle. Battle gets slowly back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Murphy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Murphy wants to work for an arm triangle but Battle is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Battle is trying to maintain the position but Murphy is very close to passing his half guard. Battle is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Murphy missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Connor Murphy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Battle tries to keep at a distance but Murphy has taken the fight into the clinch. Battle is trying to stall.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Murphy. Battle is trying to break the clinch but Murphy is controlling him. Murphy has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Battle regains guard immediately. Murphy trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Murphy engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murphy's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Murphy won't allow Battle to sweep him here. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Battle has his foot on Murphy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Murphy works his way back into a safe position though. Murphy throwing strikes from guard but Battle blocks nicely.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Battle dives in and scores a takedown into Murphy's guard. Murphy has his feet on Battle's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Murphy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Murphy showed some decent athleticism there. Murphy content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Connor Murphy has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Murphy sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Battle defending well though. Murphy is looking to take a break and control but Battle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Murphy not doing much here.
Battle tries to get to full guard but Murphy has control of the leg. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Battle is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Murphy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Murphy's back! Battle is persistently looking for the submission but Murphy is defending it well.
Murphy wants to get back to his feet. Battle not allowing Murphy to control his hands. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Connor Murphy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Murphy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
