Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Riffe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riffe has chosen Bad and Boujee as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sonny Grant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Riffe!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Eddie Farnsworth and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riffe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Grant's waist but Grant gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Riffe off to one side.
Grant is looking to counter the offense by Riffe and move into the clinch.
Grant throws a sloppy head kick and Riffe moves out of range easily.
Riffe throws a hook to the side of Grant's head but Grant sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Grant blocks the body kick.
Grant gets the takedown into side control.
Riffe is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grant connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Riffe some visible discomfort.
Grant moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Grant misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Riffe struggling a bit here.
The strikes coming from Grant are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Riffe tries to buck Grant off but Grant is having none of it.
Grant is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Riffe has escaped the position, nice work there.
Grant controls the position from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grant stands up and beckons Riffe to his feet.
Grant drives through with a takedown into guard.
Riffe can't keep his opponent in guard - Grant advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Grant with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grant throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Grant uses his free foot to push down on Riffe's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Riffe.
Grant looking to control and managing it successfully.
Grant has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Riffe's face.
Riffe looks winded!
Riffe tries to reverse the position but Grant maintains control.
Grant looking to finish Riffe with some ground and pound. This is bad for Riffe!

A nice elbow there by Grant.
Grant sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Grant lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Grant controlling the position easily from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sonny Grant dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Riffe looks to score with a jab to the body but Grant is just out of range.
Riffe misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Riffe will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Grant looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Riffe!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Grant has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Riffe!

Grant has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Riffe tries to improve his position but Grant has taken his back! Grant has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Riffe tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Grant pushes Riffe away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
