Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Garret Morse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bilbo Baggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bilbo Baggins will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Garret Morse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bilbo Baggins! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baggins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Morse. Baggins closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Baggins lands with a left to the head. Baggins lands a body punch in the clinch. Baggins lands with a short head shot on the inside. Baggins is trying to push Morse away but Morse has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Morse is working for takedown but Baggins is calmly controlling the position for now. Morse really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Morse can't get the takedown.
Morse drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Garret Morse. That's going to take a lot out of him. Morse has Baggins pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Morse pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Baggins tumbling to the mat - Morse dives into Baggins's guard. Morse wants to control from the top but Baggins keeps moving. Morse in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baggins is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Morse fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Baggins doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Baggins stalling in the clinch but Morse improves position. Morse has Baggins pressed against the cage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Baggins looking to stall.
Baggins lands with a left to the head.
It looks like Garret Morse has been cut. Morse wants a takedown but no success here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baggins wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Morse is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Morse. Morse prevents Baggins from breaking the clinch. Baggins tries to land knees in the clinch but Morse avoids the damage to the body. Morse pressing his opponent against the cage. Baggins has clasped his hands together around Morse's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Morse regains half guard there - taking advantage of Baggins's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Morse tries to roll over but Baggins keeps him under control. Morse trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Baggins manages to pass to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baggins avoids the attempt from Morse to control. Baggins trying to control but he's not successful this time. Baggins is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Morse can't escape the position.
We've been informed that Baggins has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Baggins sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Morse is trying to escape the mount.
Baggins avoids the attempt from Morse to control. Morse might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Morse is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bilbo Baggins dominated that round. The cut man is working on Garret Morse's cut. That's time! Morse's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Baggins gets in close and instigates a clinch. A frustrated look appears on Baggins's face as he tries to break the clinch. A short right from Baggins on the inside. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Morse taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Baggins keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Morse's efforts to push away. A nice right hand lands inside from Baggins. Morse manages to break the clinch.
Baggins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morse trying to hold on to Baggins's head to control him but Baggins postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baggins working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Morse's thigh. Morse counters though and makes it back to full guard. Morse keeping moving, preventing Baggins from controlling successfully. Morse seems keen to control Baggins's posture. Baggins pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Morse is keeping the position for now. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Morse is pulling down on Baggins's head. It's preventing any offense from Baggins, at least for the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Baggins closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Morse tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Baggins manages to move to mount!
Baggins can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Morse is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morse keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Baggins avoids the attempt from Morse to control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Morse is squirming around, avoiding Baggins's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bilbo Baggins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Garret Morse's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Baggins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Morse moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Baggins misses with a two punch combination.
As Baggins looks to move away, Morse throws a big counter combo but Baggins just gets out of the way. Baggins moves into the clinch. Baggins wants the takedown. Morse is fighting it off but Baggins persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Morse's guard against the cage. Morse controlling Baggins's posture. Morse not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Baggins gets caught napping as Morse dives in and scores a takedown. Baggins manages to retain guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morse landing some decent shots from guard. Morse postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Baggins avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Morse throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Baggins works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Morse stands up and waves to Baggins to follow him. Morse shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Baggins pinned against the cage. Baggins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baggins throws a series of punches but Morse moves out of range. Baggins throws a combination. Morse tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Morse could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Baggins throws a right hand that Morse ducks under and follows up with a left that Morse also avoids with ease. Baggins fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Baggins lands a two punch combo.
Morse is rocked! Baggins dances in with a quick combination. Morse is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Baggins snaps Morse's head back. Morse stumbles backwards against the cage. Baggins steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Morse's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Morse just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bilbo Baggins!
